This agreement resulted in the conditioning by the IMF;

1. Raising the retirement age.
2. Raising the price of electricity.
3. Setting 21 new taxes that burden on Albanian citizens.

This agreement between the Albanian Government and the IMF was signed without consulting the social partners and without taking their opinion. This protest was attended by over 10,000 people.

This protest made possible the cancellation of Parliament works in 22-year of history of the Albanian Parliamentary. At the protest were used roses as a symbol of BSPSH, for the development of peaceful protest toward Government charges, which a day earlier announced that the Albanian parliament will be attacked.

BSPSH is in continuation of its protest, the protection of the interests of its membership and the Albanian citizens.
