The film highlights the conditions which migrant workers work and live under and also how the global union, Building and Wood workers International (BWI) are organizing campaigns to assist them in building a safety net against exploitation. The film focuses on the cooperation between the construction unions in Asia and especially Singapore, India and Bahrain where workers are exploited in various ways by both employers, states and religions. The purpose of the film is to understand the working and living conditions for those who migrates to another country to work and understand what they face when they try to organize to improve their conditions.
